Shaoxing, Zhejiang held a press conference to introduce its upcoming consumption boost policy, which will include subsidies for consumers hosting banquets at hotels with five or more tables and spending over RMB10,000. The subsidy will be tiered based on the tax-inclusive amount of the hotel's sales invoice, with a maximum subsidy of RMB5,000. In addition, Shaoxing will further stimulate dining consumption in several areas. At the government level, the city plans to allocate over RMB100 million for business sector consumption boost policies, vigorously promoting the distribution of consumption vouchers for the automotive, supermarket, and catering sectors. To promote night economy consumption, operational entities with a certain scale of stores extending business hours will receive a one-time reward of RMB200,000. Enterprises opening new 24-hour convenience stores or community supermarkets will also be rewarded with a one-time incentive of RMB20,000, with a maximum annual cumulative reward of RMB200,000 per enterprise.
