China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) recently released the "Customs Support Measures for the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025" and clearance guidelines. The facilitation measures included 18 aspects such as facilitating enterprise participation, expanding the variety of exhibits, facilitating post-exhibition disposal, and expanding spillover effects. Among the facilitation measures, it was propounded to advance quarantine access negotiations with participating countries or regions; accelerate risk assessment progress; and expand the variety of imported exhibits.
