BABA-W (09988.HK) CEO cum Chairman and CEO of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, Eddie Wu, revealed at the 2025 Alibaba Cloud Chinese Enterprises Going Global Conference that Alibaba Cloud will make strategic-level investments to expedite the creation of a global cloud computing network, accelerate the internationalization of AI products, and fortify the development of consulting, technology, and service teams to pave the way for Chinese enterprises going global.

Alibaba Cloud will magnify investment in three fronts to fully support Chinese enterprises going global, including investing over RMB380 billion in the next three years for the construction of cloud and AI hardware infrastructure, a total exceeding the sum of the past decade, the CEO disclosed. Alibaba Cloud will accelerate the creation of a global cloud computing network covering China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

Meanwhile, Alibaba Cloud will quicken the overseas deployment of models, accelerate the internationalization of AI products, and create the best service experience both domestically and internationally. Currently, Alibaba Tongyi has open-sourced over 200 models, with derivative models topping 100,000; Qianwen 3 supports 119 languages, covering many minority languages and dialects; Alibaba Cloud's compliance system has obtained over 150 security compliance certifications.
